Club walk on Tuesday 28th April 2015

to start at car park opposite the Outwood Windmill at 10.30am sharp.

Chris Gill has organised an easy going walk of approximately two and a half miles, mostly on bridal ways and rolling farmland with fine views. The end of April is the best for bluebells and this is one  of the best parts of Surrey for them.

Ian Bowring is going to join us for the walk, he lives in the direct area and will happily point out some of the interesting parts you would not normaliy find. There are few stiles at the end of the walk but not impossible ones. There will be plenty of help if needed! Boots are recommended with warm clothing.

We can have lunch at the Bell in Outwood if you wish, however depending upon the numbers we may not all be able to sit together at one table.

If you are interested in this walk and have not already entered your name and telephone number on the sheet provided at the April meeting, or if you require any further information or directions, please contact Chris Gill on 01342 841941.

It's 1962 in Baltimore and quirky, plus-sized, teenager Tracy Turnblad has one dream: to dance on the "Corny Collins Show". When she gets put in detention and meets Seaweed and his friends, they teach her some of their dance moves, and her new found groove wins her a spot on Corny's show. Overnight Tracey transforms from a nobody into a star.

Tony Award-winning Hairspray continues to be one of the most widely produced musicals today, not only because of its wit and charm, but also because of the message of acceptance and progress that  it portrays.
